Kanu ..for the respondent The petitioner alleges that respondent nos. 7 to 10 have undertaken unauthorized construction. It is submitted before this Court that the said respondents commenced construction of a building without obtaining prior permission from the competent Panchayat Authority.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the concerned Panchayat has filed a report, which indicates that the construction in question has been carried out under the "Banglar Awas Yojana." Let the said report be kept on record.

Construction undertaken under the aforesaid scheme does not require prior permission from the

Panchayat in view of the proviso to Rule 19(1) of the West Bengal Panchayat (Gram Panchayat Administration) Rules, 2004.

Accordingly, WPA 8076 of 2025 is devoid of merit and stands dismissed.
