An earlier contempt application was filed by the petitioners being CPAN 1062 of 2021 alleging violation of the order dated 28th June, 2021.

On the date the contempt application was taken up for consideration, it was submitted by the parties that the work of demolition has started. In view of the aforesaid submission, the contempt application stood disposed of by the Court on 23rd June, 2022.

The petitioners have been compelled to file a fresh contempt application alleging that the illegal construction is yet to be demolished.

Let a copy of the contempt application be served upon the alleged contemnor, intimating that the matter will appear in the list on 6th April, 2023.

The alleged contemnors are directed to strictly comply the order passed by the Court and to ensure that the order of demolition passed on 27th May, 2022 is strictly complied with, failing which serious consequences will follow.
