..... For the Alleged Contemnor This is a contempt proceeding arising from an order dated September 20, 2024 passed by this Court. Ms. Ipsita Ghosh, learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners has placed a written instruction dated July 17, 2025 before this Court signed by all the contempt petitioners individually, the same is taken on record. Copies of the respective Aadhaar Card of the petitioners are also enclosed with the letter, the same are also kept on record.

Through the said letter the petitioners informed the learned advocate on record that, they do not want to proceed with the contempt application.

Mr. Dipanjan Datta, learned Senior Government Advocate appearing for the alleged contemnor submits that, the direction of this Court has already been partly complied with.

Be that as it may, it is true that a contempt proceeding is a proceeding between the Court and the alleged contemnor after the same is brought to the notice of the Court.

Since the petitioners are not willing to proceed any further with the charges of contempt and since it is submitted on behalf of the alleged contemnor that, the direction of this Court has partly been complied with, this Court is of the view that, any further adjudication will be academic and by keeping the contempt proceeding pending, no fruitful purpose shall be served save and except multiplying the records of the Court of record. In view of the above, the contempt proceeding, CPAN 584 of 2025 stands dropped and closed.

The contempt proceeding, CPAN 584 of 2025 stands disposed of.
