1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is kept with the records.

2. Perused the affidavit-of-compliance filed by the contemnor.

3. Learned advocate representing the petitioner admits receiving the principal amount of the Swatantrata Sainik Samman Pension Scheme.

It has been submitted that the interest has however not been paid.

4. According to the contemnor, there is no provision for payment of interest in the Scheme.

5. Upon hearing the parties, it appears that as the order has been substantially complied with and there is no legal mandate for payment of interest, accordingly, it cannot be held that the order has been violated.

6. In view of the above, there is no requirement of proceeding with the contempt application any further. The same stands disposed of.

7. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
