Considering the urgency pleaded by the petitioner in CAN 4125 of 2020, the instant writ petition is taken up for hearing via video conference. Accordingly, the application being CAN 4125 of 2020 is disposed of.

The writ petitioner seeks mandamus on the Officer-in-charge, Beliaghata Police Station to render assistance to evict the private respondent from the subject property.

Since the aforesaid relief is thoroughly misconceived and cannot be entertained even by a Civil Court without due process of law, the instant writ application shall stand dismissed.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order on usual undertakings.
