In spite of service, there is no representation on behalf of the respondents.

Mr. Sourav Mitra, learned advocate, who usually appears on behalf of the Commission is present in Court and is requested to take up matter on behalf of the Commission. Let his appointment be regularized by the concerned authority.

The petitioner had made a representation for transfer on medical ground. Evidently, there is no application for transfer in the prescribed format. Even though earlier steps have been taken, the representation of the petitioner has not been considered.

In view of the aforestated facts and circumstances, it is clear that without a requisite application for transfer being made in the prescribed format, the petitioner's grievance cannot be addressed.

The petitioner is, thus, granted liberty to apply in the prescribed format with the school authorities by 31st May, 2026. The school authorities upon consideration of the application and of any verification / certificate given by the concerned Block Medical Officer of Health, shall forward the same, if the petitioner is found to be otherwise eligible, to the concerned District Inspector of Schools by 30th June, 2026. The concerned District Inspector of Schools will deal with the matter as expeditiously as possible upon receipt of the requisite papers from the school authorities.

With the aforestated directions, the instant writ petition stands disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
