In the matter of : An application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The revisional application relates to Case No. M. P. 1300 of 2011 under Section 144(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure which was preferred before the learned Executive Magistrate, Canning Sub Division, 24 Parganas(South). Having regard to the nature of the proceedings under Section 144(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure and the time period involved in such proceedings, I am of the view that the main proceedings before the learned Executive Magistrate as also the present revisional application have become infructuous.

Accordingly, the present revisional application being CRR 1164 of 2012 is dismissed as infructuous. All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. ( Tirthankar Ghosh, J. )
