They are also publishing the offending photographs in the social media.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the private respondents denies the allegations and submits that they had neither pressurized nor would pressurize the victim or any witness to recant their statement or withdraw the

complaint or publish any photographs anywhere including in the social media.

Learned counsel for the State relies on the case diary and the report, which is taken on record and submits as follows. Further inquiry did not reveal that any publication was done by the private respondents in the social media. The private respondents are also staying quite far way from the residence of the victim. However, the police are keeping a close watch on the developments in the locality. A charge sheet has already been submitted in this case. Learned counsel for the State Legal Services Authority submits that in the event the petitioner wants compensation for the victim, an appropriate application has to be made before the learned Special Court.

It does not appear that Investigating Agency did not take steps in respect of the complaint lodged by the petitioner. A charge sheet has been filed.

As regards the issue of compensation payable to the victim, an appropriate application can be made before the learned Special Court.

The police shall otherwise keep a strict vigil at the locale, ensure that no breach of peace takes place and that no harm is done to the alleged minor victim.

In the event any untoward incident occurs or is apprehended by the petitioner or the victim, they shall be at liberty to intimate the Officer in Charge of the local police station who shall then act in accordance with law.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
