Masud ...for the State Mr.Atanu Biswas, Mr. Bikram Basak ...for the respondent nos. 6, 7, 8 and 9 The petitioners are aggrieved that the private respondents have dispossessed them from their property. They have also been assaulted and have complained to the Kalna Police Station, Purba Bardhaman.

The Kalna Police Station has registered FIR being Kalna PS Case No.

166/2023 dated 14.02.2023 against the private respondents on the petitioners' complaint. On the private respondents' complaint, FIRs being No.

147/2023 dated 09.02.2023, 166/2023 dated 14.02.2023 and 385/2023 dated 06.04.2023 have been registered against the petitioners.

The investigation into the said FIRs shall be completed as expeditiously as possible by the Kalna Police Station.

Counsel for the private respondents submits that they have not obstructed egress and ingress of the petitioners since they have a separate entrance. Any dispute with regard to any particular point of entry into the petitioners' house, by the private respondents may be resolved in an appropriate civil proceeding.

The police submit that they have conducted a spot inspection and have found no obstruction to the petitioners' ingress and egress.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
