Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since November, 2023 and the prosecution proposes to examine 19 witnesses. On the other hand, learned advocate for the State submits that already 14 witnesses have been examined. Having considered the advanced stage of the case, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. However, the learned Trial Court would complete the prosecution witnesses within a period of 6 months from the date of communication of this Order.

At this stage, prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (M) 931 of 2026 is dismissed.
