Affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioner be kept with the record.

Petitioner is apprehensive that there may be unforeseen circumstances faced by her at the time of harvesting and to that effect informed the Officer-inCharge, Basanti Police Station on or about 15th March, 2024 against the private respondents and also requested the police authorities to provide necessary police assistance at the time of harvesting.

Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that earlier direction was passed in WPA 24655 of 2023.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that on the basis of the information received by the police authorities, enquiry was conducted. Enquiry revealed that no incident

took place at the relevant date and time as reported by the petitioner. Petitioner was further requested to submit a complaint. However, such complaint was also not submitted.

In view of the period and purpose for which the petitioner sought for police assistance, the same having expired the foundation of the writ petition presently has become infructuous, as such, no interference is called for.

Accordingly, WPA 8835 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
