Mr. Bitashok Banerjee Mr. Asraf Mandal .....for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits as follows. There was a free fight between two groups of neighbours. Injuries were suffered by both sides. Charge sheet has already been submitted.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He refers to the medical papers of the injured and submits that there was a stab injury (6 cm) on the right side of the abdomen. That apart, there were other injuries like lacerated cut injury on left middle ring and little figure, cut injuries on neck and the like. The injured victim had to remain in hospital for a considerable period.

In view of the materials available in the case diary as against the present petitioners, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
