Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that this is an application with a prayer for a direction upon the Howrah Municipal Corporation to take steps against the private respondent no. 6 and for necessary order of demolition of an illegal unauthorized construction at premises no. 241/8, G.T.Road, Lilua, Belur, Howrah.

Report in the form of an affidavit is filed by the learned Counsel appearing for the Howrah Municipal Corporation.

From the report, I find that proceeding under Section 177 of the Howrah Municipal Corporation Act, 1980 has already been initiated against the private respondent no. 6. A copy of the report is also handed over to the writ petitioner.

This being the facts of the situation, the cause of action in this writ petition is redressed and thus the writ petition being No. WPA 6020 of 2020 is disposed of. The report filed by the Howrah Municipal Corporation in Court today be kept with the record. Urgent certified website copy of this order if applied for be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
