No. 29 KAUSHIK REJECTED C.R.M.(A) 1445 of 2023 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Liluah Police Station Case No. 128 of 2023 dated 26.03.2023 under Sections 272/273 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 46AA of the Bengal Excise Act.

And In Re : Debkumar Das @ Debu ...... petitioner Mr. Ujjal Ray ....for the petitioner Mr. Sudip Ghosh Mr. Apurba Kumar Dutta ....for the State The materials in the case diary suggest that the petitioner is the supplier of ingredients used by co-accused for manufacturing spurious liquor.

Police seized spurious liquor of 110 liters.

Prima facie case stands made out as against the petitioner, which requires investigation.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1445 of 2023 is dismissed.
