1. By way of this public interest litigation the petitioner who is the Member of the Legislative Assembly of the West Bengal has submitted a representation to the Hon'ble Chief Minister alleging illegal dredging activities by the 6th respondent in the area in question.

2. The 6th respondent has been given the tender for the dredging purposes by the West Bengal Mineral Development and Trading Corporation Limited which contains various terms and conditions and the tender inviting authority is stated to closely monitor the activities of the 6th respondent.

3. In any event the petitioner being the Member of the Legislative Assembly and he has placed his grievance before the Hon'ble Chief Minister, we are

confident that the grievances placed before the Hon'ble Chief Minister will be considered since the petitioner is a sitting Member of the Legislative Assembly.

4. With the above observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.
