The petitioner's father who was a school teacher expired in 2016. Thereafter his mother applied for compassionate appointment in 2018 but she did not get any service as the compassionate appointment was not considered. However, the mother of the petitioner was also expired in 2021 and the petitioner applied for the compassionate appointment in 2021. Now the question is compassionate appointment for whose death? Mother did not get any job on compassionate appointment for which the petitioner claims a job in his mother's place due to her death. The claim of the petitioner has thus become non-existent. It is not a case that the petitioner's father died and then her mother got compassionate appointment. Then the question could arise whether petitioner can get the

compassionate appointment due to his mother's death or not.

Therefore, I do not find any merit in this writ application and the writ application is dismissed. (Abhijit Gangopadhyay, J.)
