Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

Primarily, the present writ petition was filed, inter alia, praying for direction upon the concerned police authorities to register FIR based on the complaint dated 27th February, 2026 and 30th March, 2026 lodged by the petitioner.

Mr. Maiti, learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that a complaint of the

petitioner has been transformed into an FIR being Baruipur PS Case No. 712/2026 dated 7th April, 2026.

However, it is contended on behalf of the petitioner that police authorities are required to take further steps with regard to property in question.

State respondents and respondent nos. 5 to 8 are represented by learned advocates.

Since main prayer of the petitioner is to register FIR and concerned police authority has already registered FIR being Baruipur PS Case No. 712/2026 dated 7th April, 2026, at this stage no further order need be passed on this writ petition save and except directing the concerned police authorities to take the investigation to its logical conclusion at an early date.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
