Mr. Sounak Bhattacharyya Mr. Sounak Mondal ....for the petitioner Mr. Debasish Ghosh Mr. Sayan Ganguly ..for the State This writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Officer-in-Charge, Bakultala Police Station, to ensure that the order of temporary injunction passed in Title Suit No. 66 of 2004, is implemented. The parties to the suit were directed to maintain status quo with regard to the possession of the disputed property.

This order shall not be construed as a declaration of the correctness of the allegation made by the petitioner. With regard to the allegation of violation of the ad-interim order, the civil court is the appropriate forum. If there is a subsisting order in the nature of an injunction or status quo passed by a competent Court of law, it is the duty of the police authorities to see and the same is complied with by the parties to the suit.

This writ petition is disposed of.

There will be, however, no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
