Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of Haripal PS Case No. 105/2025 dated 03.03.2025 registered for investigation no effective steps have been taken by the police authorities and as such the petitioner has approached this court. Mr. Samanta, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State submits that already steps have been taken and one of the accused persons namely, Prasun Dey has been arrested in connection with the said case. However, the other accused person namely, Bapi Porel is absconding.

The Investigating Officer is exhausting the processes by way of raiding and preparing for the next stages for tracing out the accused concerned. Steps are also being taken by the police authorities

in respect of tracing the accounts and the amounts which have been invested by the said Bapi Porel. In view of the investigation being at the nascent stage and the police authorities are taking steps, I am of the view that at this stage no specific direction is called for.

However, the police authorities would put in efforts to address the grievance of the present petitioner in respect of the investigation and take the investigation to its logical conclusion.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 8139 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
