This revisional application seeks expeditious disposal of an application for amendment of plaint under Order VI Rule 17 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner invites the attention of this Court to Order No. 151 dated June 20, 2025 and submits that the petitioner was heard in full on the said application for amendment on June 20, 2025 and on the said date, adjournment was prayed for on behalf defendant/opposite party but thereafter, the hearing of the said application could not be concluded and the matter still remains pending. 3.
In view of the nature of the order proposed to be passed by this Court, direction for prior service of notice along with a copy of the revisional application on the opposite parties is not being made, however, the petitioner shall remain obliged to serve a copy of the revisional application along
with a copy of this order upon the opposite parties within a week from date.

Having heard the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner and having perused the material-on-record, this revisional application is disposed of by requesting the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), 2nd Court at Alipore, 24-Parganas (South) to dispose of the petitioner's application for amendment under Order VI Rule 17 of the Code as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one month from the next date fixed without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

C.O. 1226 of 2026 stands disposed of. No costs.
