For the State Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner Latifur Rahaman @ Lotifur Rahaman is seeking bail for his release as he is in limbo of jail incarcerated for 190 days and Charge-sheet has been submitted on 28.02.2021 and he was arrested on 31.01.2021. So, custodial trial is not necessary.

Learned Advocate for the State adverted to the statement of the victim herself at page 28 of the case diary and raised objection to grant of bail.

Having heard learned Advocates for both the parties and in consideration of the statement of victim girl, we are of the view that long custody in jail is no ground for bail bearing in mind the gravity of offence. Hence, prayer for bail is rejected.

Thus, CRM 3189 of 2021 stands dismissed.
