The petitioner has approached this Court being aggrieved by the inaction of the information furnished with Mandir Bazar Police Station.

According to the petitioner, he has been subjected to threats and the private respondents tried to assault him and in spite of informing the same to the local police station, no action has been taken. State has submitted a report which reflects that the petitioner under the name and style 'R.T.I Info' has been running a Youtube channel where he claims to inform the marginalised sections of the society as to how the government benefits and

schemes do not reach them. It is also reflected that an enquiry was conducted pursuant to the information furnished on or about 03.11.2024. The police authorities did not find any material for substantiating that the petitioner has been subjected to any threat or assault. It is also reflected from the report that presently, the police authorities have knowledge regarding the threats being received by the petitioner and as such, they have drawn up proceedings under Section 126 of BNSS against the private respondents.

Learned advocate appearing for the private respondent nos. 7 to 10 submits that the accusations are only based on apprehension and there is no substance in the accusations.

Be that as it may, since the police authorities have kept a strict vigil, they will continue their surveillance and ensure that no untoward incident results because of the strained relationship existing between the petitioner and the private respondents. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 8234 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
