The petitioner, in the year 2014, was engaged as Kalyan Bandhu (Business Correspondent Agent or 'BCA' in short) to provide kiosk banking services to the customers of the State Bank of India, Boga Branch, Indpur, District : Bankura,, i.e. the Linked Bank, the respondent no. 1 herein, he is alleging that since 2018, the said Bank not allowing him to act as such. The petitioner, by a representation dated October 01, 2020 has prayed before the Branch Manager of the respondent no. 1 Bank to resolve the issue. The said representation forms part of the writ petition being Annexure P-3.

The Branch Manager of the respondent no.1 Bank herein is directed to consider and dispose of the said representation of the petitioner expeditiously in accordance with law, if necessary, after giving the petitioner an opportunity of hearing.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have denied by the respondents.

WPA 9227 of 2021 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Urgent Photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
