The petitioner is aggrieved by the act of the Nadia Zilla Parishad in issuing notice inviting E Auction No. 985/NZP dated 12.03.2024 for the lease period from 01.04.2024 to 31.03.2025.

The petitioner submits that Nadia Zilla Parishad permitted the petitioner to run the subject ferry service from 15th April, 2023 to 14th April, 2024 and, accordingly, the notice Inviting E-Auction for lease from 01.04.2024 is bad. It has been submitted that the petitioner ought to be permitted to run the ferry till 14.04.2024.

In reply to the aforesaid submission, learned advocate representing the Nadia Zilla Parishad relies

upon the corrigendum Notice for e-auction 14/NZP being memo no. 1059/NZP dated 15th March, 2024 which clearly mentions that the lease period may be read as 15th April, 2024 to 31st March, 2025. In view of the corrigendum notice published by the Nadia Zilla Parishad, the grievance of the petitioner appears to have been redressed.

Accordingly, there is no requirement of passing any further order in the writ petition.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
