Mr. Bidyut Kumar Halder Mr. Indranil Halder Ms. Srabanti Das Ms. Neha Singh ...for the petitioners The petitioners allege that though they have been empanelled in the year 2019 for the post of Teachers in the United Missionary Girls' High School (P.E.), they have not been given appointment. By order of this court some general category candidates have been given appointment. The petitioner nos.1, 3 and 4 are Scheduled Caste candidates whereas petitioner no.2 is an OBC candidate.

The District Inspector of Schools (P.E.), Kolkata wrote a letter to the Deputy Director of School Education (RP), West Bengal for instruction whether approval of the remaining six teachers meaning thereby the petitioners and the empanelled candidates similarly situated with the petitioners whether to be given approval in terms of notification No.

198-SE/EE dated 03.03.2016 of School Education Department, West Bengal as the panel was prepared in 2013. However no reply has been given

to this letter which is at Page 19 of the writ application.

I direct the said Deputy Director of School Education to consider the matter and to take a decision and if necessary, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order and to give appropriate instruction to the District Inspector of Schools (P.E.), Kolkata with copy to the petitioners. The order is to be passed by two weeks from the date of hearing.

With this observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
