No. 29 CHC Rejected C.R.M.(A) 1110 of 2024 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Chanchal Police Station Case No. 1407 of 2022 dated 29.11.2022 under Sections 341/323/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012.

And In the matter of : Ramjan Ali ...... petitioner Ms. Sujata Das ....for the petitioner Ms. Faria Hossain, Mr. Abhishek Verma ....for the State Petitioner prays for anticipatory bail.

There is a long absconsion of the petitioner before us. The police case is dated November 29, 2022. Investigation is yet to be concluded.

Process of declaring the petitioner as proclaimed offender was initiated.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 1110 of 2024 is disposed of.
