It is contended on behalf of the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner that the bills raised are imaginary in nature. There is a writ petition pending in with regard to the bills.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, and considering the fact that there is no interim order in the writ petition, we are of the view that custodial interrogation of the petitioner in the present case is imperative. Consequently, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 2008 of 2022 is dismissed.
