This revisional application was preferred challenging the order dated 15.01.2020 passed by learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 8th Court, Calcutta in Complaint Case No. C/583/2013 and the order dated 25.03.2021 passed by learned Chief Judge, City Sessions Court, Calcutta in Criminal Revision No. 95 of 2020.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he intends to get a hand writing expert's opinion in respect of the hand writing in the body of the cheque and whether the same was written by the author of the cheque.

Having considered the contentions so advanced and the issue being dealt with by the learned Magistrate as well as by the learned sessions court while exercising its revisional jurisdiction, I am of the opinion that further deliberation on the said issue is unwarranted.

Learned advocate appearing for the complainant/opposite party no.1 opposes the contentions which have been advanced in this revisional application. Learned advocate also expresses his anxiety regarding the

delay which has resulted in completion of the case before the learned trial court. Having considered the same, I direct the learned trial court to arrive at its conclusion and pronounce its judgement by 31.07.2023.

The learned Magistrate is directed to proceed as directed above.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 1076 of 2021 is dismissed. All pending connected applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
