1. The report filed by the respondent no. 6 is taken on record.

2. Since in the report, the authorities have admitted the entitlement of the petitioner to receive House Rent Allowance and have undertaken to release the entire House Rent Allowance from January 2021 till May 2024, nothing further remains to be adjudicated.

3. Let such amount be released by March 30, 2026 along with interest at the rate of seven percent per annum, as agreed in the report by the concerned authorities.

4. The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

5. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.
