Khan Mr. Debanshu Ghorai ... for the State Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has nothing to do with the alleged disappearance of the victim lady. She might have disappeared on her own volition.

Learned counsel for the State relies on the statements of the husband of the victim and the minor son. Both of them referred to an acquaintance and/or relationship between the victim and the petitioner. He also relies on the phone call records and tower location analysis and points out that even after such disappearance there were calls made between the victim and the petitioner when both of them were residing at Bengaluru.

Considering the fact that the victim has not been recovered yet and in view of the incriminating materials available in the case diary, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
