The petitioner, however, contended that he was entitled to an additional sum by way of interest.

Pursuant to this Court's order dated May 2, 2025, WBSEDCL has recalculated the total payable amount at ₹1,00,824/-, which has been accepted by the petitioner today.

In light of the above, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the present writ petition. Consequently, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon WBSEDCL to pay the outstanding balance amounting to ₹29,880/- to the petitioner within seven days from the date

of this order.

Accordingly, WPA 8223 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
