Affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioners be kept with the record.
Petitioners approached this Court being aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities in respect of the information furnished on 10.03.2025. The information so furnished is that two criminal cases registered against the petitioners are on false accusations.
On the other hand, learned advocate appearing for the respondents submits that there are
illegal activities of the petitioners and other writ petitions are also pending before this Court State has submitted a report. Report reflects that at the behest of the private respondents Frezerganj Coastal P.S. Case No.20 of 2024 was registered for investigation on or about 08.03.2024. Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that there is a pen drive containing video relating to incidents complained of.
Having considered the plight of the petitioners as well as the history of several cases inter se the parties, I am of the view that the Superintendent of Police through his authorized officer will consider the representation of the petitioners dated 10.03.2025 preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.
With the aforesaid observations, WPA 8224 of 2025 is disposed of.
There will be no order as to costs.
Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
