Mr. Roy, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioners. He submits, his clients have made this writ petition since private respondent has caused illegal construction. Representation dated 25th November, 2019 was made by his clients to the Municipality. Mr. Halder, learned advocate appears on behalf of the Municipality and submits, show-cause has been issued against private respondent, regarding why construction obstructing the window should not be demolished. Mr. Basu, learned advocate appears on behalf of private respondent and submits, the Municipality has given hearing but not taken any decision.

The Municipality is directed to deal with and dispose of this issue regarding demolition within three weeks from date of communication of this order. In event demolition is directed, steps must be taken forthwith thereafter to execute the order. Otherwise, reasons must be given by the Municipality as to why it does not think fit for passing an order of demolition, to be communicated to petitioners within the time of three weeks.

With above directions, the writ petition and connected application are disposed of.
