When the petitioner affirmed the affidavit in support of his writ petition, he was aged about 54 years. In this petition, the petitioner seeks implementation of an order dated February 14, 2001, whereby the respondents were directed to consider his case for regularisation. Even if today an order is passed in this petition to implement the order dated February 14, 2001, the same would be an infructuous order since by this time, the petitioner has crossed the age of superannuation. Accordingly, WPA 6270 of 2009 is dismissed as infructuous.
