2. The petitioner is serving as Health Assistant (Female) in the department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal. She is currently on maternity leave.

3. She alleges that she has been posted in a very far of place. She seeks posting at a place which is close to her residence. She has given birth to her first child in January, 2026.

4. It will be open for the petitioner to apply before the authority highlighting her grievances with her prayer. On application being made, the same shall be considered by the authority in accordance with law.

5. The writ petition is disposed of.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties, subject to compliance of all requisite formalities.
