For the alleged contemnor Pursuant to an order dated 30th September, 2020 Mr. Abid Hussain, Director, Madrasah Education is present in Court. The affidavit showing progress in the matter affirmed by Mr. Abid Hussain is placed before us and the same is taken on record.

The outbreak of pandemic since 24th March, 2020 has prevented the alleged contemnor from complying with the order dated 24th January, 2020. Although time to comply with the order did not expire prior to the outbreak of pandemic, but we must record our dissatisfaction with regard to the progress in this matter at the end of the alleged contemnor. We feel there were sufficient time available to him between 10th February, 2020 to 16th March, 2020 to

comply with the order. The alleged contemnor should not have proceeded with the matter at such a snail's pace.

Under such circumstances, we direct the alleged contemnor to conclude the proceedings positively on or before 15th December, 2020. On the basis of the undertaking recorded by the alleged contemnor that he would comply with the order as directed above, we do not propose to pass any further order in this matter.

The application for contempt is disposed of.

Consequently CAN 1 of 2020 (CAN 4517 of 2020) stands disposed of.
