Ms. Sreyasheee Biswas, learned advocate appears on behalf of the State. The subject-matter of the revisional application relates to expeditious disposal of Case No.N - 113/2018 arising out of Basirhat Police Station Case No.305 of 2018 dated 25.06.2018.

The revisional application reflects that the petitioner is in jail. Consequently there is bound to be anxiety Having considered the time period which has elapsed in the meantime, the trial has not concluded, I direct the learned Trial Court to issue show cause notice to the office of S.P. in view of the directions so passed in CRR 3363 of 2022, the office of the SP would ensure regarding the presence of the witnesses on the next date so fixed by the learned Trial Court and all steps should be taken for disposing the trial of the case within a reasonable period of time. With this aforesaid observations, C.R.R. 1085 of 2021 is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
