Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is D/L6 28.06.2023 Bpg.

aggrieved by the fact that he has been pursuing before the courts for a considerable period of time regarding the CCTV footages of three different places being:

(i) Firstly, at the corridor of the Sealdah court premises near the lawyers' chamber.

(ii) Secondly, CCTV footage outside Entally Police Station and (iii) Thirdly, house of the petitioner.

An application in respect of the aforesaid three CCTV

footages and their locations being referred to would be filed by the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner in course of the day, before the trial Court.

The State would give a report at the earliest in respect of the aforesaid three CCTV footages relating to the locations referred to in over there.

The learned trial court would fix regular dates for the purposes of this case and in case the report is submitted, the petitioner would be able to utilise such material at the stage of defence evidence.

Once the report is submitted, the learned trial court would give effect to the purpose for which the dates are being fixed by the trial court and proceed in accordance with law. Earlier, there were directions from this Court for expeditious disposal of the trial of the case. However, because of pendency of some applications, the learned trial court accommodated the parties. The learned trial court would fix dates as it thinks convenient in the circumstances in this particular case. No further unnecessary adjournment should be granted to either of the parties and regular dates should be fixed as directed above. Compliance in respect of the report relating to CCTV footages must be preferably done by 30th June, 2023. Mr. Nandy, learned advocate appearing for the State has taken exception in respect of the connected applications which have been filed and which has not been served upon the State, however, the said applications have not been pressed by the petitioner.

Accordingly, CRR 1245 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
