Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. There is a long-standing family dispute between the private parties. An altercation ensued on the fateful day. However, false allegations have been levelled against the petitioners in the First Information Report.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State refers to the statements of eyewitnesses and the injury reports. Considering the fracture injury received by the victim Nurul Mallick and in view of the incriminating materials contained in the case diary including the statements contained at pages 14 and 15 of the same, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

The application for anticipatory bail being CRM(A) 1259 of 2025 is, thus, rejected.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order may be delivered to the learned Advocates for the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all formalities.
