Petitioner informed the police authorities on or 13.08.2025 Court No. 35 D/L. No.23 Rakib about 16.03.2024 alleging that he was assaulted and pressure was created to extort a sum of Rs.14 lakhs. To that effect information was sent and no steps were taken. Learned advocate for the State is present.

On the other learned advocate for the private respondent no.4 submits that the dispute and difference between the petitioner and the private respondents are of a family feud which has been blown out of proportion and the police authorities have been invited to unnecessarily interfere. It is further submitted that the petitioner (is the nephew) while the private respondent no.4 (is the uncle). Having considered that the representation was placed before the concerned police authorities in the month of March, 2024 and almost 18 months have passed, I am of the view that if the petitioner is aggrieved by such inaction, he would file a fresh representation and if required thereafter approach the jurisdictional Court for necessary reliefs.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 8930 of 2024 is disposed of.
