Mr. Nayak, learned advocate appearing for the Assistant Returning Officer files a report dated May 12, 2026 which is taken on record.

From the said report it appears that out of total 707 number of voters 511 voters participated in the election and 9 members were declared as elected. Mr. Bhattacharya, learned Senior Advocate, submits that since the election has been completed peacefully, nothing remains to be decided in this writ petition.

Accordingly, WPA 8579 of 2026 stands disposed of.

Re: CAN 1 of 2026 (in WPA 5108 of 2026) In view of the order passed today in WPA 8579 of 2026 nothing remains to be decided in the application being CAN 1 of 2026 in WPA 5108 of 2026.
