Ms. Minoti Gomes ... for the petitioner Mr. Imran Ali Ms. Debjani Sahu ... for the State Ms. Minoti Gomes, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner, submits that except the juvenile, who is the present petitioner, rest of the persons as per instructions received by her have been acquitted. The present petitioner is only facing trial. Ms. Debjani Sahu, learned advocate appearing for the State, has submitted a report of Chakdah Police Station, which reflects that case has been fixed for evidence on 7th October, 2021. Having regard to the same, the purpose for which the revisional application has been filed seems to be infructuous. The adjudicating authority under the Juvenile Justice Act is directed to proceed with the trial of the case and bring the same to its logical conclusion keeping in mind that other major persons have been acquitted after the trial was concluded before the jurisdictional Sessions Court.
With the aforesaid observations, CRR 1177 of 2012 is disposed of.
Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
