AD 8 May 7, 2025 Ct. 28 SG CRM(A) 1231 of 2025 Reject An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Bhutni P.S. Case No.04/2025 dated 06.01.2025 under Section 64(2)(k) of the BNS.

At the heading of the said order, the names of Mr. Rudradipta Nandy and Ms. Nandini Chatterjee, learned counsels, who appeared on that date for the State, were not recorded. Let the same be deemed to have been recorded. The order dated 17.04.2025 is hereby corrected and shall always be read conjointly with this order.

Considering the statements of the victim girl recorded before the learned Magistrate through a special educator and before the doctor who medically examined her and the statements of independent post occurrence witnesses, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
