Mr. Arunava Maiti ..for the petitioner Mr. Subhendu Bandyopadhyay ..for the State The petitioner contends that his application for a water connection under the "Jala Dhara Scheme," introduced by the State Government, has not been considered by the Pradhan of Tulshihata Gram Panchayat, respondent no. 6.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the representation addressed to the Pradhan, annexed at page 29 of the writ petition, remains pending and has not yet been considered.

The petitioner further submits that both he and his wife are persons with disabilities and have been experiencing considerable hardship due to the absence of a potable water supply at their residence. In view of the foregoing, WPA 8287 of 2025 is disposed of with a direction to the Pradhan to consider and dispose of the representation annexed at page 29 of the writ petition, in accordance with

law, within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
