By the order dated 10th February, 2022, being the order under contempt, the Chairman/Managing Director of Bridge & Roof Company India Limited, being the respondent no.2 in the writ petition (WPA 21159 of 2021) was directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 12th November, 2021 by a reasoned order within a time frame.

Although the time frame provided has not been adhered to, but the representation has been disposed of by a reasoned order which is not in dispute. Since the order under contempt has been complied with in substance, the delay in disposing of the representation dated 12th November, is condoned. It is recorded that the order under contempt has been complied with.

The contempt application is, therefor, disposed of by recording compliance to the extent above. The disposal of the contempt application will, however, not stand in the way of the petitioner in challenging the reasoned order by which the representation dated 12th November, 2021 has been disposed of as I cannot go into the merits of the reasoned order in contempt jurisdiction and consider the same.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
