Despite service, the respondent No. 4 remains unrepresented.

On the basis of the report filed on behalf of the CESC Limited, it appears that a loop meter can be installed at the subject premises subject to strengthening of the existing service.

In view of the above, WPA 8668 of 2026 stands disposed of by directing the CESC Limited to take necessary steps in terms of their report dated 22nd April, 2026.

Liberty is granted to the CESC Limited to avail of police assistance, if the circumstances so warrant.

Any payment for police assistance would be borne exclusively by the petitioner.

Any costs or expense incurred in carrying out the exercise by the CESC Limited would also be borne by the petitioner.

The above exercise should be completed within four weeks from the date of passing of this order. (Ravi Krishan Kapur, J.)
