Petitioner has filed this writ petition being aggrieved by inaction on the part of the respondent Co-operative society in considering his application for payment of enhanced gratuity as per Gratuity Payment Act, 1972.

It appears from record that petitioner has made several representations from time to time for redressal of such grievance. It appears from record that last such representation was made on 9th January, 2023.

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and submission of the parties this writ petition being WPA 8281 of 2023 is disposed of by

directing the respondent authority concerned to consider and dispose of the aforesaid representation of the petitioner in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or his authorized representatives, within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.
