Ajoy Prasad Keshari v. State Of West Bengal & ANR
C.R.R. 1233 of 2011 In the matter of Ajay Prasad Keshari ...petitioner. Mr. Pravas Bhattacharyya r Mr. Pratick Bose ...for the State.
20.12.2021 sl.20 sk ct.29 Mr. Pravasn Bhattacharyya along with Mr. Pratick Bose, learned Advocates who usually appear on behalf of the State are requested to appear in this revisional application. Learned Public Prosecutor is requested to regularize the appointment of Mr. Pravas Bhattacharyya and Mr. Pratick Bose learned advocates in due course.
Learned Advocate on behalf of the State appears and submits that this revisional application was modified with a prayer for quashing of the proceedings of English Bazar P.S. F.I.R. No. 07/2011 passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Malda under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code.
None is appearing on behalf of the petitioner. After careful perusal of the entire certified copy of the FIR and other orders passed by this court, I do not find any reason to continue with this revisional application further while the petitioner is not at all interested with this proceedings which is pending since 6.5.2011 i.e. more than ten years.
Thus, being the position, the revisional application stands dismissed.
The learned Registrar (Judicial Services) is requested to communicate this order to the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Malda forthwith.
