Apparently, the petitioner is involved in a cyber crime. The proposal for investment emanated from the petitioner. Money was paid by the de-facto complainant to the account of the company belonging to the petitioner. Subsequently, such money was siphoned out. Money trail can be traced upto the petitioner.

Complicity of the petitioner appears from the materials in the case diary. A prima facie case requiring investigation of the petitioner stands made out.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1481 of 2023 is dismissed.
