1. The affidavit of service is taken on record.

2. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that her name was deleted from the Electoral Roll of Manickchauk Assembly Constituency, Malda.

The representation of the petitioner to restore her name in the Electoral Roll was received and accepted by the West Bengal State Election Commission.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the State respondent submits that the petitioner's application will soon be acted upon.

4. WPA 8296 of 2023 is disposed of with a direction on the District Election Officer, Malda to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application within two weeks from today. The decision shall be communicated to the petitioner within four days from the date on which the decision is taken.

5. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertakings.
